Traditional Business vs Home Business
My Home Business Review … my opinion.
This is my home business review of Home Businesses and how I see their worth, and advantages. Notice I didn’t say disadvantages. I would like to put forward a Home Business Review from my experiences and my trials and tribulations (what I have researched, my successes and failures).
Having worked in the traditional sense mainly in retail or office work for the last 30 years, the home business idea for me was way out there with the fairies. How could this possibly work. You would need to keep stock, a lot of it, and have a business premises where the people are, you need staff and all of the huge expenses just to keep the doors open… it’s the ‘normal’ way , or the only way to do business. Or so I thought…. these were my thoughts due to my limited thinking.
It’s a lot of hard work being enveloped by the traditional job. It takes all of your time, you sell your time for money, and not much money for the time put in, and when you do the statistics 95% of people are 1 paycheck above the poverty line. All this came to my attention in a split second and you could have knocked me over with a feather. For most of my adult life, I was not there with the people I love most, my family. I was racing around dropping my children off at childcare before and after school 5 days a week, my beautiful husband also worked long hours so I rarely saw him either especially when he was working the night shift. It was hello goodbye 12 hours apart for years. Terrible when I sit back and think about it. The life you don’t have when you sell your time for money.
I started researching the different ways I could use my talents doing what I love, retire my husband, and be here for my family. Home business sounded perfect but how. Google is a fantastic tool but, I had a massive amount of options…. thousands. Every page I opened there were more promises and carrots dangling than I could ever imagine. Millions of pages of information.
It was time to research and do my own home business review.
Not being stupid or naive, I knew every business in the world needs investment and has running costs so straight away I deleted the get rich quick with no money down ones.
They really are an insult to the average persons intelligence.
I wanted sales, marketing and a good payment plan (compensation plan) because 2 out of these 3, I was already an expert from my 30 years in retail, or so I thought. The company had to have been around for at least 10 years and have a good reputation. Not the false reputation manufactured by the nay sayers in most chat rooms or soap box websites. Most of what is written in those negative pages is rubbish. I had narrowed my choices to lotions and potions, travel or personal development. I chose Personal Development. Even then there was a lot to choose from.
I made my short list fairly quickly by choosing 10 possibilities and then actually phoning them and talking with a human. I get a good feeling when I talk with someone and know straight away if they are legit.
I finally chose the business which felt right. My gut feeling has always served me well. I chose a company then called Liberty League now upgraded to Prosperity of Life. At the helm and man I call my mentor and friend Mr. Shane Krider.
This was over 7 years ago and I strongly believe this was the best decision I have ever made. Quite a steep learning curve initially because I had to unlearn what I thought knew about marketing and then simply follow a very simple system. A system put together from years of experience from people just like me. As far as this being a home business review, it is in my opinion a good review and not to bore you with BS.
My business is called BestEverHomeBusiness.com and is always growing and developing as I grow and develop. 100% online all I need to successfully operate my business is a good phone and internet plan.
I am always the student and the servant. My motto is “how can I help you?”
As Jim Rohn has said,
“By helping enough people get what they want you automatically get what You want”.
